Another year means another exciting new cuvée from Jérôme. Once again, this wine is different from its predecessors and is made up of a wild blend of Grolleau, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc – a category defying red/white blend giving us the best of both worlds. Biclir is light and fragrant, showing touch more tannin and green fruit than previous cuvées, though still lithe and bloody with some pretty floral aromatics floating from the glass. As always with Jérôme’s wines, this is positively bursting with character and energy. Unconventional, unique, daring - totally fantastic stuff that is an absolute joy to drink. This one ticks all the boxes for exciting, rare and riveting, so it goes without saying there isn't much to go around.
