This is the high end spectra line called UHMWPE The 30lb JB One Spectra is thinner than 20lb dacron and allows you to increase the amount of backing on any reel. The 50lb is about as thick as 20lb dacron and is the preferred standard for 9 wt and up rigs. (available in yellow, blue, or olive only) The 65# is still thinner than 30lb Dacron - but is as tough as nails. Preferred for heavy duty hard fighting fish such as the GT (Available in Orange or Patriot only) Spectra is patented and trade-marked.
