Jersey Pottery has been around since the mid-1940s from the little island of Jersey, in the United Kingdom. They transformed in the 1970s to reflect the world of fashion and were v ery inspired by the natural qualities of clay. When decorative ceramics were banned (story for another day) they exploded into the hospitality and tourism markets. Even ye ole queen Elizabeth visited the Jersey Pottery factory!
