The full New Jersey shore in three coast charts, surveyed by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey and sold together as a triptych. The set covers Sandy Hook to Barnegat Inlet from 1886, Barnegat Inlet to Absecon Inlet from 1879, and Absecon Inlet to Cape May from 1880. Each sheet shows the barrier islands and back bays in detail, with thousands of soundings marked offshore, compass roses across the water, and tables of tides and sailing directions along the margins. Charts in this series were made for vessels working the coast between New York Harbor and the Delaware capes. Unearthed from the NOAA archives and restored by Coast & Horizon's cartographers, meticulously color-corrected.
