Jewelry has been used throughout history to express identity, culture, status, and belonging. In this workshop, we’ll explore that idea through the art of wire-wrapping. You’ll learn the basics of wire wrapping and create a necklace, earrings, or keychain that carries a story that’s personal to you. We'll have plenty of materials for you to explore and create a piece you'll love. You are welcome to bring an object, symbol, small trinket connected to your culture or heritage, or anything that carries meaning to you, and learn how to transform it into a piece of wearable jewelry. If you can't think of something to bring, don't worry we will have enough for you to choose from. No previous experience needed. All materials and tools are provided. Walk-in from 18:30. Workshop starts at 19:00. Come early, enjoy a drink and a chat :)
