Sit at the jeweler’s bench in this hands-on beginner jewelry making workshop. From sketch to finished piece, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of jewelry making through demonstrations and guided practice. You will choose from a selection of designs, or you are welcome to bring your own ideas, and create either a pair of earrings or a ring to take home. During the workshop, you’ll learn techniques including piercing, filing, texturing, annealing, soldering, and polishing. Working with solid gold or setting stones is not possible in this course.
