The Jigging World Ghost Hunter Conventional Jigging Rods are built for anglers targeting giant bluefin tuna and other powerful pelagic species with vertical and speed jigging techniques. Constructed from 24T Japanese carbon fiber, the lightweight blank provides the sensitivity needed to control and feel a jig while maintaining substantial lifting power when a large fish settles into a deep battle. The series has become particularly popular in demanding Northeast tuna fisheries where strength-to-weight performance is critical.Premium components complement the heavy-duty blank, including Fuji BCKWAG guides for smooth line flow and a Fuji PLS graphite conventional reel seat for secure reel mounting under heavy loads. Premium EVA grips provide comfortable control during long jigging sessions and extended fights, while the rubber gimbal provides additional stability when fishing with a fighting belt or harness. One-piece construction maintains consistent blank response and strength throughout the rod.
