Customers asked for it back so here it is :) Jin Jun Mei is a distinctive bud-only black tea from Wuyishan. Similar to our premium Lapsang Souchong but more delicate, and more next level. It's got a very clean mouthfeel and finish, with crisp top-notes. The darker you brew it the more accentuated the top-notes, but be careful of over brewing unless you like some bitterness. I get honey and cinnamon which makes sense because hiking for days around the whole area I kept getting wafts of cinnamon. Also, I don't know if it's just me but I feel if you let it cool for several minutes after the initial brew it's easier to taste the notes and is overall just nicer to drink at that temperature. That seems to by my M.O. for most teas honestly. Harvest: Spring 2026 Brewing: Try this western style. A heaping teaspoon to 8oz. boiling water (If you want to go for more flavor just add more leaf), let it sit for 5 minutes.
