The perfect fish batter! DIRECTIONS Directions to coat 6 pieces of 4 oz (133g) fish YOU WILL NEED: · 158g (1 cup) flour to dip fish · 158g (1 cup) of Batter Mix, using a levelled d ry measure · 175ml (3/4 cup) of cold water · 10 ml (2 tsp) of white vinegar PREPARE: Preheat vegetable oil in deep fryer or preheat 1-2 cm (1/2 inch) of vegetable oil in skillet on med-high heat to 176C (350F). Add flour to a seperate plate to coat fish. MIX IT UP: Add batter mix, water, and vinegar to large bowl. Stir with wire whisk until no lumps remain. FRY IT UP: Lightly coat fish in flour, shake off excess. Add floured fish to batter and coat evenly. · Deep fryer: Add coated fish to deep fryer and cook for 4 mins or until golden brown. · Pan fryer: Add coated fish to pan and cook for 2 1/2 mins each side or until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towel. Fish is done when golden brown and flakes easily.
