Arguably John Martyn’s masterpiece. A stunning album blending folk, jazz and blues to startling effect and featuring such killer tracks as ‘Over the Hill’, ‘May You Never’, the beautiful title track and his stunning reading of Skip James’ ‘I’d Rather be the Devil’.
