Reissues of John Maus’ first three full lengths, previously long out of print for years and now available again on CD and heavyweight LP, following the sold out 6LP catalogue box s et edition of 1000 released in early 2018. Songs is the first official album by John Maus, released on 27 June 2006 by the Upset the Rhythm. This collection of songs, recorded between 1999 and 2004, documents his West Coast culture shock, and by the sound of his music, one gets the impression that, aside from a couple close friends and crucial meetings, California and art school pretensions haven't been kind to Maus' character.
