The Cordes Chest moves with the quiet authority of a piece that understands exactly what it is — a study in considered proportion, its ash construction finished in a cerused black that allows the wood's natural grain to read as a kind of topographic relief beneath the surface. Hardware rendered in Aztec Gold introduces a warm metallic counterpoint, the steel elements lending structural precision to a silhouette that feels at once archival and entirely current. At just over thirty-four inches in height and forty-four inches across, it occupies space with the deliberate presence of something designed to anchor a room rather than merely furnish it. Show more
