Red vinyl repress of So Alone, the 1978 debut solo studio album by Johnny Thunders, then leader of The Heartbreakers and formerly lead guitarist for New York Dolls.The album opens with a loud, spirited rendition of the Chantays' 1962 surf rock instrumental "Pipeline." It's followed by one of Thunders' all-time classic tracks, "You Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory," that was released as a single and to this day is considered by many to be his signature song.
