PRODUCT DETAILS Johnstone’s Silk emulsion is a high opacity, low odour, water based paint for use on interior walls and ceilings. It provides an attractive high sheen finish that is smooth, durable and scrub resisting which make it ideal for high traffic areas. FEATURES: Can be used straight onto new plaster Durable, wipeable finish Low odour PREPARATION Ensure that the surface to be painted is sound, clean,dry and free from grease. Remove all loose paint and wall coverings. Seal absorbent surfaces with a solutionof up to 1 part water to 4 parts Johnstone’s Silk Emulsion. Glossy surfaces shoudl be rubbed down with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinsed thoroughly to provide a key. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. APPLICATION Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Stir well before use and apply by brush, roller and avoid overspreading. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10ºC, or in damp conditions. CLEANING Remove as much product as possible from brushes, rollers and paint pads before cleaning. Clean all equipment immediately after use in warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly
