Jon Lord 'Windows' Limited Edition Orange Vinyl Reissue LP. WINDOWS is a live album by JON LORD and theGerman conductor and composer Eberhard Schoener.It was recorded at a concert in Munich in 1974, andthe music is a mix between progressive rock andorchestral late romantic/modernist styles. It featuresmusicians from the rock world such as DavidCoverdale and Glenn Hughes. “Continuo on B-A-C-H” is a loose attempt to buildon the unfinished triple fugue that closed JohannSebastian Bach’s “Art of the Fugue.” The secondside of the LP is a three-part composition called“Window.” Ray Fenwick (The Spencer Davis Group,Ian Gillan Band); Tony Ashton (The Remo Four,Family); David Coverdale (Whitesnake, Deep Purple);Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath); andLord himself perform as soloists along with theMunich Chamber Opera Orchestra conducted byEberhard Schoener.
