Float comes easy in deep snow, and edge hold stays calm when the surface firms up, thanks to the balanced camber and rocker working underfoot. The Jones Stratos Splitboard blends smooth turn entry with reliable drive, helped by a 10mm tapered directional shape that keeps the nose riding high while the tail releases cleanly. Built by Jones around an FSC™ Ultra Split Core and stabilized with Forever Flex, the Stratos Splitboard is designed to keep its feel consistent over time. Bio Resin construction cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 33%, while split-specific hardware like Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 and a Bolt-Less Bridge deliver solid compression and dependable torsional stiffness. Key Features Directional Camber/Rocker Profile: Rocker in the tip with camber between the bindings and slight tail rocker for float, edge hold, and controlled turn initiation. 10mm Tapered Directional Shape: Tapered outline helps the tail sink in soft snow for improved float and quicker turns. Blunt Nose Design: Increased surface area at the front contact point improves glide in soft snow without added swing weight. FSC™ Ultra Split Core: Dual-density wood core with paulownia and poplar stringers for durability and turn power. BComp Carbon Flax Stringer: Carbon and flax reinforcement adds snap and stability while reducing vibration. Biax Fiberglass Laminate: Dual-direction fiberglass layup delivers a forgiving, responsive flex pattern. Inside and Outside Traction Tech: Serrated edges improve grip and control on firm and variable snow. Sintered 8000 Base: UHMW polyethylene base with carbon for durability and speed. Bolt-Less Bridge: Splitboard connection system that improves torsional stiffness without base hardware. Karakoram Ultra Clips 2.0 with Tips Lock: Low-profile, adjustable clips provide strong compression between board halves. Bio Resin Construction: Bio-based epoxy reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 33% compared to conventional epoxy. Forever Flex: Board is pre-broken in to stabilize flex and rocker for long-term performance.
