What we think: Pony Boy is yet another great, creative yet wearable fragrance by Jorum Studio! The brand's product page references a "steamy sauna" vibe and even before reading that, when we smelled it, it felt like there was some mind of tangible humidity there. So they did a great job translating that concept! We also love the combination of the sweet tart raspberry with tangy rhubarb.The fig is super well-blended here, where it adds a pop of fresh sweet nuance but doesn't smell like an outright noticeable fig scent at all. The pink grapefruit works well with it and adds a tartness that bridges the gap between the sweet fresh side and the bitter green notes. The woods and vetiver come out more by the drydown, but we wouldn't call this an intensely woody scent.Overall: we like Pony Boy a lot! Part of our upcoming Best Rhubarb Fragrances collection.
