New Release Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania's leading wine producers. Always one of Tasmania's leading Pinot Noir makers, the 2024 Josef Chromy Estate Pinot Noir is crafted from grapes grown on Chromy's estate vineyard at Relbia, northern Tasmania. A fuller-bodied style Pinot Noir with excellent concentration, this is bursting with vibrant cherry and raspberry flavours and a silky mouthfeel. With subtle oak, refreshing acidity and a long balanced finish, this is an ultra impressive Pinot release from Josef Chromy.
