Around 18 years ago, Martyn set out to re-record some songs that had grown through the years and needed a fresh coat of paint. That group of songs became the album, 'Evolved'. In t hat same spirit, he's brought some more of his opus up to date with this collection, 'Revolved'. It's volume two, we guess. He's made these recordings because, as the years go by and he plays the songs hundreds of times live, he inhabits them in better ways. They've matured, move differently, and it's sometimes hard to recognise them from their genesis. They're stronger, better turned out and punch harder and they're ready for a new day. Show more
