Our Joy baptism candles can spread joy at a Christmas event and all throughout the year! The large candle is decorated in soft whites; wrapped in velvet, with rich ribbon for the bow, and a showy sparkly poinsettia flower. This handmade design can be purchased as a set (One 24” Lambada and Two 17” Candles) or individually in both sizes. The 24” molded candle has a 1.5” diameter. The 17” candles have a ¾” diameter. Candles burn at the rate of approximately 1” per hour and are smoke and drip-resistant. These candles are created from a blend of superior-quality stearine and paraffin wax with a pure cotton wick for a slow and calm burn. In a Greek Baptism, the godparent (“nonos” or “nona”) holds the larger candle. The 17” candles are small enough to be easily held by children or any other participant going around the baptism font.
