Commemorating the origins of the M arshall sound, this offset JTM45 reissue is a spectacular example of tone and classy cosmetics. Cramming four 12" speakers into a small, half open-back cab, this gives the look and sound of a beefier version of the classic piggy-back amps of the era. The High Treble channel is bright for sure, but this amp sounds best when you jump the channels together and get the volumes right about 1 o'clock. Sounds to me like it's and English Bassman (for obvious reasons) in the best ways. Crystal clear cleans, and the overdriven tones are a bite-y yet smooth.
