Jubilation 40 by Amouage is the ultra-luxury Exceptional Extrait reinterpretation of the legendary Jubilation XXV Man. Released in 2023 to celebrate the house’s 40th anniversary an d created again by Bertrand Duchaufour, it contains 40% perfume oils, making it richer, smoother, and more regal than the original. Widely considered one of the finest masculine extraits in niche perfumery. What It Smells Like It opens with a beautiful burst of blackberry, blackcurrant, davana, orange, and rosemary—fruity, aromatic, and immediately opulent. The heart reveals classic frankincense, bay leaf, cinnamon, clove, and floral touches, adding spicy resinous grandeur. In the drydown, oud, patchouli, myrrh, opoponax, moss, ambergris, and woods create a rich smoky-amber base. The overall effect is fruity, resinous, woody, spicy, and extraordinarily elegant.
