How It Works: You send us your old battery, we remove it from the battery enclosure, and replace it with our upgraded battery. The enclosure is then resealed and we sent it back to you - its that simple! Once you purchase this service one of our representatives will reach out to you and provide the details required for sending the battery to us. Please allow up to 1-2 business days for a representative to reach out and make sure to keep an eye on your spam folder just in case! If you opted for a ChiBattery Provided Label we will send you a printable shipping label, if you opted to send it yourself we will provide the address details. The Details: We rebuild the battery using Grade A 21700 Samsung 50S cells instead of the original 18650s. These larger 5000mAh cells are in a 14s4p configuration which gives the battery 20 Amp Hours and 1,036 Watt Hours. We replace the original BMS with a Daly Smart BMS and overall capacity is increased by 4% on 19.2Ah models and 28% on 15.6Ah models. The original charge and discharge ports are still used making this battery a great plug and play option, requiring no soldering or adapters. The battery display lights are eliminated during the rebuild process, so please refer to your bikes display for SOC information. Please note the stock power button will also not function. All batteries are assembled in our facility located in Illinois. Conductors and insulators are custom designed and cut on our fiber lasers to ensure high quality and precision assembly. Pure nickel is used in construction allowing for high efficiency with fusing on every individual cell. Each battery produced is serialized and rigorously checked and tested by our quality control specialists. Batteries come with a 1 year warranty.
