New for Autumn 2025 Barn owls, little owls, short-eared owls, tawny and wood owls often dwell in ruins and forests, quietly hidden among the trees. These gentle, elusive birds have long inspired stories, art, and objects. My inspiration came from an owl depicted on an ancient Etruscan ceramic pot I saw in a museum in Parma, Italy. I transformed that image into a brooch, and in this workshop, we will create our own owl using fabric, wool, felt, and threads. There will also be time to craft twigs, toadstools, trees, and eggs to build a charming Owlie scene together. *Please bring with you your own sewing kit and any fabric, threads and wool you would like to use. Sunday, November 30th 11-5pm The class will have a maximum of 9 students. You will be able to shop in the shop as well if you would like.
