9 alcohol-free beers from the woman who jumped ship to brew them Jump Ship exists because Sonja Mitchell loved beer but hated hangovers. A former marketer, she couldn't find a Scottish alcohol-free beer that tasted like the real thing, so she left her job and set out to brew her own. It took nearly a year to get the first beer right; when Yardarm finally landed, it went on to beat global brands to the title of best no & low alcohol lager at the World Beer Awards 2021. Sonja and her crew moved into their own brewery in Pathhead in 2024, and haven't slowed down since. This box proves the range that's followed: probably the widest set of different alcohol-free styles from a single UK brewery, all under 0.5%. Three beers are brand new for summer: a Cherry Sour built on a carefully controlled mixed fermentation, a Radler cut with real lemon and white grape juice rather than flavourings, and a Motueka-hopped IPA bringing lime and tropical fruit to the front. What's in the box: Yardarm, Lager - 0.5% Jackstaff, IPA - 0.5% Haar, New England IPA - 0.5% Dazzle Ship Motueka, IPA - 0.5% Dazzle Ship Azacca, IPA - 0.5% Flying Colours, Amber Ale - 0.5% Vitamin Sea, Radler - 0.5% Ocean Drift, Cherry Sour - 0.5% Steamboat, Hazy Pale - 0.5% First 10 boxes will have a bonus can of their hand labelled Krush pale ale for IWBCD. Jump Ship Brewing is a guest box this month. Order before 24th August. Please note: if you swap to an alcohol-free box, your subscription will default to be alcohol-free (from £38 a month - 12 beers). If you would like a different box you will have to swap before your next order is confirmed. You will receive an upcoming order reminder a few days before this happens to remind you.
