Soft Rush adds an interesting vertical and spikey textural element to a pond-side garden. This wetland plant enjoys sunny, soggy areas and can grow into 4' tall clumps, providing e xcellent cover for marsh wildlife. The dark green, leafless stems of this plant remain evergreen, though the tips do die back a bit in winter, adding attractive brown and grey streaks to the planting.
