California Gray Rush: Fast-growing CA native evergreen rhizomatic ornamental rush with narrow, upright, greyish blue, erect, round stems that grow 1-2' tall and wide. Expands with runners, eventually forming dense colonies but grows slowly and more like a clumping grass. Brown flowers in late spring-summer. Can grow indoors or outside. Great in containers and for cut flower arrangements. Full sun to part shade. Medium to high water. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, bog, heat and drought tolerant once established.
