Inspired to capture the unique silhouette of a Rudbeckia flower. This framed piece is made with silk noil (raw silk) fabric that was dyed with chlorophyll. Then using pigment extra cted from earths ochers to make printing ink, the silhouette from is then stamped onto the fabric and framed out with maple wood. Each piece is incredibly unique and cannot be exactly duplicated.
