In this Beginner Workshop, participants will learn how to use a sewing machine. They'll learn sewing machine basics, including: how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine and how to sew straight, even seams. Students will also complete a project to take home in this workshop. All materials included! This class is a prerequisite to our "Sewciety Kids" after-school courses and all mini camps or summer camps. Students who are 7-8 years old must attend class with an adult (parent or guardian). Students aged 9+ may attend by themselves. Please include the age of the child when registering! Note: Please arrive to class on time, as essential information is given in the first few minutes of class. Cancellation Policy:If you are unable to attend the class, you may receive a refund or credit for a future class ONLY if we are notified in writing via email at least 72 hours prior to the class AND we are able to fill your spot.
