It's Juneteenth! Teach your 3rd, 4th and 5th graders about Juneteenth through this Reading Comprehension Bingo Activity. Students will learn through a game while they improve reading comprehension. What's included: 26 versions of bingo cards 24 questions to go with the text (+ 1 free space) 2 pages of informational newspaper-style text 1 answer key This resource is… an informational newspaper-style text with questions in a bingo format fun and engaging printable AND digital BINGOThe questions are in a bingo style. Students read the informational text about Juneteenth, then they answer questions on the bingo grid. The grid comes with 26 different versions. Having each student use a different version of the answer grid will allow you to reinforce the content of the informational text by playing a game of bingo. HOW TO PLAY:The first page is an answer key, which can be used to play the game of bingo. Cut up each square, place them in a Ziploc bag or container of your choice, and call out questions. Students must answer the question correctly and have 5 in a row: up, down, or diagonally.
