It is stamped ‘jungin’, which translates as pure silver. Silver with the jungin mark means that the silver content is around 95%, that is a fineness above sterling silver which has to be a minimum of 92.5%. It comes with the glass display case in the photos, as well as the black stand. The little plaque attached to the front of the display case says ‘2nd Place Award 1994’ and it was received at a golf tournament. The fan is signed on the front and is decorated with plum blossoms, a chrysanthemum, bamboo and a small iris.
