Jungle Mosaic is a rich blend of Robusta and Arabica, grown primarily under the shade of sweet, Ficus (fig) trees. Behind the name: We’ve translated Jungle Mosaic to “Vanam Pookalam” in Malayalam, the predominant language of Kerala, India. Vanam means forest. Pookalam refers to a beautiful form of artwork made entirely of flowers and petals that Kerala is famous for. It’s like rangoli* but made entirely of flowers rather than colored powder. Vanam Pookalam then is our vibrant blend of shade-grown coffee beans from both evergreen and moist deciduous forests, of both Arabica and Robusta beans - a mosaic of majestic forests.
