You have asked for it. What could be better than an all day Junk Journal session. This workshop is an introduction to junk journalling. "Junk journaling is a creative, sustainable hobby that blends scrapbooking, collage, and diary writing by transforming "junk"—old papers, envelopes, maps, and packaging—into unique, personalised books. It focuses on the joy of making, reusing materials, and artistic expression, allowing for complete freedom without strict rules or the need for expensive, specialised supplies" For this workshop we have local artist Anna Heasley who will teach us techniques to make our own journal out of scraps that we can then continue to use at home to junk journal. Anna says" The idea is to create without thinking and enjoy the process" If you have any "special" junk that you have been collecting you are welcome to bring it along to the workshop and use in the journal you make.
