Have you always wanted to create a traditional Gingerbread House that not only tastes delicious and looks fabulous but doesn’t collapse before you’ve had a chance to show it off? Yes? Then this course is for you! Beginners and home bakers, couples, friends, families or Christmas gift experiences all welcome. Join Just Ginger for a festive gingerbread workshop where you'll create your own beautiful gingerbread scene entirely from scratch. You will use basic, tried and tested templates as well as have the opportunity to experiment with the dough to make your creations unique. You will have full instructions alongside tips and hints to ensure the best outcome. Expect this course to be hands-on and interactive, with guidance and support available throughout. The contract for the supply of the workshop is between the customer and Just Ginger, although payment is taken via the Ground Up Cookery School booking system, all revenue is passed on to Just Ginger. You are advised to bring suitable containers and bag to help transport your festive bakes home safely. Tea, coffee and biscuits, including iced gingerbread, will be available throughout the day to help yourself. Children from a minimum age of 8 must be accompanied by a full paying parent or legal guardian, who remains responsible for them throughout the class, working together on one project. 1 child per adult at an additional £15 can be accommodated. Young people aged 15–18 may attend without a parent or guardian for the full cost of the course. A completed parental consent form is required for all attendees aged 15–18. These courses are aimed at adults, and young people must be able to participate independently and behave appropriately without requiring additional supervision. Although many guests attend on their own, workspaces are allocated 2 to a station. Guests will be emailed approximately one week before the event with any final information, including whether there is anything specific to bring or any changes to arrangements. CancellationThere is a strict four-week cancellation policy. Cancellations within four weeks of the course date are not refundable and this course cannot be exchanged with other courses at the cookery school.
