Engineered for Goniopora. Perfect for All Filter Feeders. Historically, Goniopora and Alveopora species (often called Flowerpot Corals) were notoriously difficult to keep alive long-term in home aquariums due to their strict nutritional demands. Developed by renowned coral expert Justin Credabel, GonioPower revolutionized flowerpot coral care. GonioPower is a highly concentrated, advanced blend of dried zooplankton specifically engineered to match the exact polyp mouth sizes and dietary preferences of suspension-feeding marine invertebrates. It provides the essential proteins, fatty acids, and biological pigments necessary to promote rapid tissue growth, vibrant polyp extension, and long-term health in your reef. Key Features & Benefits Tailored Micro-Particle Size: Formulated specifically to trigger a aggressive feeding response in notoriously picky Goniopora and Alveopora spp. Nutrient-Dense Profile: Naturally rich in essential vitamins, trace elements, amino acids, and vital marine lipids. Versatile Filter Food: While designed for flowerpot corals, it makes an exceptional broadcast or target food for all filter-feeders, including soft corals, LPS/NPS stony corals, anemones, seafans, zoanthids, clams, and feather duster worms. Enhances Natural Coloration: Packed with natural carotenoid pigments that help enhance and maintain the intense pinks, reds, yellows, and greens of your prized coral morphs. Guaranteed Analysis Crude Protein 50.0% MinCrude Fat 5.0% MinCrude Fiber 10.0% MaxMoisture 15.0% Max Feeding & Preparation Instructions To get the most out of GonioPower and avoid degrading your aquarium’s water quality, utilize the targeted drop-feeding method: The Mix: In a small container, mix 2 parts seawater to 1 part GonioPower by volume. Stir thoroughly until it forms a uniform, liquid slurry. Kill the Flow: Temporarily turn off your aquarium's wavemakers and return pumps. The food works best in completely stagnant water so the micro-particles can settle gently over the polyps. Target Feed: Using a target feeder (like a syringe, turkey baster, or Julian’s Thing®), gently puff the mixture directly over the extended coral polyps. The Feeding Window: Allow the corals to feed undisturbed for 20 minutes. Resume Flow: Turn your circulation pumps back on to wash away any remaining uneaten food into your mechanical filtration system. 📈 Dosing Frequency: Can be fed anywhere from daily to weekly depending on your tank's bio-load. Do not exceed a maximum daily usage of \frac{1}{4} tsp per 12 gallons of total water volume. ❄️ Storage Note: Keep the container tightly sealed and refrigerate after opening to preserve lipid stability and maximize freshness.
