The Juwel Filter Grid was designed with small fish, shrimp and fry in mind. Currently the intake slots are more suited for aquariums with larger fish. However, now thanks to this f ilter grids special shape it creates a reduction in the size of the intake slots both at the top and the sides so aquarists with shrimp tanks or small species of fish can reduce the likely hood for fish and shrimp being caught.
