The K-40 is a true two-stage pump that has a high volume stage and high pressure stage for “topping off”. It gives you the ability to rapidly and efficiently inflate large inflatables. The K-40 is a shorter version of the K-400 which makes it easy to stow. The K-40 is a favorite from recreational rafters, guides, outfitters, search and rescue units and even special forces. K-40 or K400? The K-40 and K-400 at 4” are our largest diameter pumps and identical with the exception the K-40 is 25% shorter. The K-40 is a very popular choice because it is easy to pack, lighter weight, yet still produces over 70% of the volume of the K-400.
