Our 'Dog-Eared' version of vintage-spec P90-style guitar pickups, featuring screw-adjustable pole pieces. The Nickel-finish K-90 has Alnico V bar magnets for a more 'vintage warm t one' while the Black K-90 has Ceramic magnets for more top-end brightness and output. The P90-style pickup is a well-loved single-coil for those that love a tone somewhere in-between standard single-coils and humbuckers. More open than humbuckers while being thicker and warmer than single-coils. The "Dog-Ears' have historically appeared on Les Paul and SG 'Junior' as well as Casino type guitars and adds a different and rather cool look. PLEASE NOTE: While the BLACK K-90 has a flat underside to the cover, the NICKEL K-90 has a curved underside to the cover.
