The 1:1 Tuning K20C1 650HP built engine is designed for FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R platforms looking for a reliable, high-performance shortblock. This setup is ideal for customers upgrading from a stock K20C1 engine that has failed or needs additional strength for higher horsepower applications. The 1:1-650 is our entry level K20C1 shortblock. These shortblocks are assembled using the best parts combos, while also getting them assembled and shipped as quickly as possible. Typically, these blocks are purchased by those that have experienced a failure with their stock block and want to get back on the road as soon as possible, while getting an engine that's much stronger than the original. These shortblocks can be assembled using BRAND NEW OEM cores, or you can send your good core in to be used. ALL shortblocks get brand new OEM Crankshafts, so you do not need to send yours in. If you are sending your engine in to be built, it MUST be in usable condition. In the event that it is not usable, we will contact you with some options to get a new block. Please only send an empty block core, no other parts If you need a box and packing materials to send your block in, please contact us after your order is placed. There are a many ways to combine parts and machining to achieve specific goals. We have built many K20C's from top to bottom using nearly every parts combo available. That being said, our preferred parts combos are hand-picked to meet and exceed the goal listed. Our main focus is to keep pricing within reason and to only sell our customers the parts that are needed to get back on the road/track. The best way to do this is to offer "HP targets" for blocks with different options. This block has a build time of 1-2 weeks after order is placed before it will ship. Due to variables with each build, we don't typically keep these on the shelf, unless otherwise noted. 1to1-650 Block (Rated for 650HP+) This is our entry level offering.
