Weighing only 1.8 lbs (806 g), it offers exceptional reach, low handling noise and a unique articulated joint that allows the top two sections to lock into five angled positions. The pole is uncabled and features a 3/8″‑16 male thread at the top and a collar with rubber bottom at the base. Detailed Description The KA113 Articulated Klassic Boompole is designed for modern production workflows where long takes and operator comfort are critical. K‑Tek’s patented articulated joint allows the top two sections to bend and lock into one of five positions, enabling the operator to boom from the hip, rest the pole on the ground using the rubber base, or reach over/under obstacles with ease. This makes it ideal for ENG, interviews, documentary work and tight shooting environments. Constructed from high‑density graphite, the pole offers maximum strength with minimal weight. The burnished finish reduces handling noise, while K‑Tek’s proprietary collar‑locking system ensures smooth, secure extension of each section. A foam‑covered handling area provides additional comfort during long shooting days. The compact collapsed length makes the KA113 an excellent choice for frequent travelers and operators who need a versatile, portable boom solution.
