This reminds me of Gyokuro because it shares so many of the same attributes. It's a high altitude shade grown Japanese sencha which is steamed and retains its bright green color. K abusecha means "to cover" and is grown very similarly with as gyokuro with a lot of shade high up in the mountains. It produces a similar result but at a much more affordable price. Steep it with lukewarm water for the most sweetness. The mouthfeel is extremely soft and buttery and grassy, and it steeps up beautifully bright green from all the chlorophyll. The fresh taste of spring encompasses you. Tasting Notes: Buttery, Vegetal, Orchids Steep: 1 Tbsp of tea for 12oz water. Water temperature: 160. Steep time 3 minutes. Subsequent steepings, 1 minute.
