Every kit includes a powerful Kaizen inline extraction fan, an RC-412 activated carbon filter, 5 metres of aluminium ducting and three jubilee clips. With six duct sizes available from 100mm to 315mm, there is an option for compact grow tents through to larger grow rooms. Complete four-part kit Six sizes available Up to 1940m³/hr UK plug fitted Read more Read less What is included in the Kaizen extraction kit? Every kit includes: 1 × Kaizen inline extraction fan 1 × matching Kaizen carbon filter 1 × 5-metre length of aluminium ducting 3 × jubilee clips The fan, carbon filter and ducting supplied with each option use a compatible connection diameter, removing the uncertainty of matching separate ventilation components. Powerful Kaizen inline extraction fan The Kaizen inline fan features a strong steel casing and a powerful magnetic motor designed to provide dependable, cost-effective extraction. It delivers strong airflow even when operating against resistance from a carbon filter and ducting. Each fan is already wired and fitted with a UK mains plug. The smooth connection flanges make it easy to attach the supplied aluminium ducting using the included jubilee clips. RC-412 activated carbon filtration The matching Kaizen carbon filter contains Australian virgin-mined RC-412 activated carbon for effective air filtration and odour management. Its high-density vent pattern and coned base plate help maintain airflow through the carbon bed. Lightweight aluminium top and base plates provide strength without adding unnecessary hanging weight, making the filter easier to install inside a grow tent or grow room. Available sizes and airflow rates Kit option Duct diameter Fan airflow 100/300 100mm / 4-inch 320m³/hr 125/300 125mm / 5-inch 400m³/hr 150/300 150mm / 6-inch 550m³/hr 200/600 200mm / 8-inch 1220m³/hr 250/600 250mm / 10-inch 1550m³/hr 315/600 315mm / 12-inch 1940m³/hr Choosing the correct extraction-kit size Start by calculating the internal volume of your grow space by multiplying its length, width and height in metres. You should then consider the heat produced by the lighting, ambient temperature, humidity and the resistance created by ducting bends and the carbon filter. The airflow figures above are maximum fan ratings. Real-world airflow will be lower once the filter and ducting are connected, so allow suitable additional capacity rather than choosing a fan based solely on the room volume. Installation guidance Position the carbon filter inside the growing area using suitable hanging straps or securely rated fixings. Arrange the fan so that air is drawn through the carbon filter and then pushed towards the chosen outlet. Connect the fan, filter and ducting using the supplied jubilee clips. Keep the ducting as short and straight as practical to minimise airflow loss. Check the airflow-direction arrow on the fan before switching the system on. Test every connection for air leaks, vibration and unusual noise. Hanging straps, additional connectors and external mounting hardware are not included unless specifically shown with the selected option. Warranty and substitution information Kaizen extraction fans include a one-year warranty. Retain your order information as proof of purchase. Please note: In the event of a stock shortage, an alternative brand with matching specifications may be supplied. Each kit includes one Kaizen inline extraction fan, one matching carbon filter, five metres of aluminium ducting and three jubilee clips. Which Kaizen extraction-kit size do I need? The correct size depends on the volume of your growing area, lighting heat, ambient conditions, humidity and airflow resistance. Allow additional capacity for the carbon filter, ducting length and bends. Does the fan come with a UK plug? Yes. Kaizen inline extraction fans are supplied wired and fitted with a UK mains plug. Are hanging straps included? No. Suitable hanging straps, rope ratchets or securely rated fixings must be purchased separately unless they are specifically shown with the selected option. Can I use a fan-speed controller? Controller compatibility depends on the fan motor and the controller’s operating method. Only use a controller confirmed as compatible with the selected fan. How should the fan and filter be installed? The usual arrangement draws air through the carbon filter, through the extraction fan and then along the ducting towards the outlet. Always check the airflow arrow on the fan before operation. How often should the carbon filter be replaced? Filter life varies according to operating hours, humidity, airflow and airborne contaminants. Maintain the outer sleeve and replace the filter when its odour-control performance noticeably declines.
