Installation notes (important) Do not mount the RF receiver/dongle inside enclosed metal areas, which can reduce remote connectivity. To prevent battery drain during storage, install a switch on the red KMLC power wire to shut the receiver off when not in use. Do not connect the KMLC power wire directly to a head unit remote turn-on wire (use a relay if triggering from a turn-on lead).
