There are three options available for finishing your blanket: Option 1: The two short sides of the blanket will be hemmed with a 1/4" hem. The two long sides will have a royal blue fringe which is woven in such a way to prevent the fringe from unraveling. (Option 1 must be washed on a gentle/delicate cycle and hung dry to prevent the fringe from unraveling). See images 2, 3 & 4. Option 2: The two short sides of the blanket will have a white fringe which has been stitched with a zig-zag stitch to prevent unraveling. The two long sides will have a royal blue fringe which is woven in such a way to prevent the fringe from unraveling. (Option 2 must be washed on a gentle/delicate cycle and hung dry to prevent the fringe from unraveling). See images 5, 6, 7 & 4. Option 3: All four sides of the blanket will be hemmed with a 1/4" hem. (Option 3 can be machine washed and dry however you normally wash your linens and does not require any special laundry treatment). If you select option 1 or 2 with a fringe, then you will need to wash your blanket on the delicate/gentle cycle and hang dry to prevent the fringe from fraying (as shown in image 4). If you select option 3, then your blanket will not require any special laundry treatment and can be machine washed and tumble dried.
