Six years ago, my husband was in Afghanistan and I was stationed in South Korea for a year with the military (we tried to get stationed in the same location... at least we were on the same continent!). During that long year, we both recieved two weeks "vacation" where we could go anywhere we wanted. We chose to meet in Hawaii.
