The idea for these rings came from my move back to Aotearoa, and my love of going for a walk in the bush. In order to create this ring, I had to get amongst the native Kānuka trees here in Mahurangi. I take a soft wax and wrap it around a selected branch in order to capture its intricate texture. This wax is then delicately shaped into ring form and cast in 18ct Gold. They say 'Kānuka is Kind' so perhaps this ring is a good gift for someone special in your life. Show more
