Edgar Plastic Kaolin (EPK) is a fine, white-firing kaolin widely used in ceramics to improve plasticity, whiteness, and workability in clay bodies and porcelain blends. It also helps with glaze suspension and increases fired strength. The product is exclusively manufactured by Edgar Minerals, and distributed by Seattle Pottery Supply. Contains crystalline silica, which can be harmful if inhaled. Can be irritating if ingested. Always wear gloves, a dust mask or respirator, and work in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest.
