Kaolin (Helmer) is a fine, white-firing kaolin used in clay bodies and porcelain blends to improve plasticity, whiteness, and workability. It also enhances glaze suspension and con tributes to fired strength and durability. Contains crystalline silica, which can be harmful if inhaled. Can be irritating if ingested.
