I first became interested in becoming a hairdresser when I attended one of my Mom’s haircut appointments. It was at the Horst Salon in Deephaven, MN. I was so impressed with the st aff, all were dressed in black and each attending to their clients in a beautiful setting. I chose the well-known cosmetology school, The Horst Institute in Minneapolis. After school I had intensive training with Rocco Altobelli, to become a hair color specialist. Now with Mérite as my salon home for the last 13 years of my 30-year career, I continue to grow as an artist in an ever-changing industry. From icy blondes to dark brunettes, Wella hair color for professionals allows me to customize amazing formulas and applications for each guest.
