The side pockets attach to any PLCE bergen or backpack using the standard YKK zips. Each pocket is approximately 12.5L, so adding around 25L of additional storage.Access is gained via the top lid, providing a safe storage area for sleeping equipment, food preparation items or anything that needs to be kept secure. There are several clips providing additional support to the pocket during those challenging trips where you need everything to be secure and not move around.The side pockets fit the Sabre 45, 75 and 60-100 models as well as the PLCE packs in the Predator and Nordic Range. The side pockets may also be used with the PLCE yoke (73729), forming a 25 litre day sack.This product is of course used by various military organisations, but it very popular with bushcraft enthusiasts, hikers and explorers.Made from KS100e, a durable 1000 Denier Nylon fabric with excellent tear and abrasion resistance. A waterproof elastomeric polyurethane (PU) coating is included on the reverse and is finished with a durable water repellent (DWR) on the outer face. Camouflage models are manufactured from 500D Infra-Red Reflective (IRR) fabric.
